What is Schaal Sels?

Schaal Sels (Sels Trophy) is a Belgian UCI 1.1 bicycle race, rewarded as "Route of the Year 2015" by VéloNews. A thriving combination of real off road experience, Belgian cobble stones and a finale on excellent broad roads in front of 15.000 spectators is what makes this 200km race unique and popular.

Schaal Sels has the ambition to become a UCI “hors catégorie” race where the best professional road cyclists compete the best cyclo-cross riders.
